The Corportation Mozilla has released Firefox 3.7 Alpha 1, the first development version of the new generation of its browser. The final version could not be identified by the initials 3.7 but probably will go directly to Firefox 4.0.

Brand new in Firefox 3.7 Alpha 1 are indeed numerous and great work has been done once again to increase the speed of rendering and scrolling of web pages.

Here are the main new features of Firefox 3.7 Alpha 1:

New rendering engine Gecko 1.9.3 Transitions support CSS, SMIL Animation in SVG Support WebGL (use the GPU for the Web in 3D) HTML 5 Support
